Great place, great history
Lovely lady in ticket office gave all the information of what there is to see. It is a very vast area to cover many ruins
It gives one the size and feel of the centre of Preslav around 10 AD, it is mainly foundations. It will give one an impression of the importance of Preslav at the time. A must after this is to ensure you visit the Archaeological Museum nearby to fill in the gaps.
Great museum! The holographic figures were fascinating, and my kids really enjoyed them.
Great place to learn more about Bulgarian history and culture. You can see examples of the early Bulgarian signs written in Bulgarian from 9-10 century AD. I would recommend that visit the museum first then the ruins of then town. And do get a guide. Worth the visit!
